About The Position
Henry Ford Health seeks a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join its neonatology team, providing Level III neonatal care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The role serves a 100% pediatric/neonatal caseload in an inpatient setting. New graduates are welcome. The schedule is 36 hours per week and includes rotating days, nights, and weekends, Sunday through Saturday. A starting bonus is available.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing from a CCNE- or NLNAC-accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Michigan Nurse Practitioner licensure, or proof that an application is in process.
- National Board NNP Certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
- Current RN licensure in Michigan.
- Federal DEA License.
- Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for neonatal medicine.
Nice To Haves
- Prior neonatal or pediatric nursing experience.
- Experience in Level III NICU settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive neonatal care to Level III NICU patients.
- Perform bedside procedures and clinical assessments.
- Attend deliveries and provide immediate neonatal support.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide family-centered care and communication.
- Contribute to quality improvement and clinical excellence.
- Advance clinical skills in Level III NICU practice.
