Provides specialized nursing services in areas such as school-based health care, women's health care, family planning, and primary care. Requires considerable medical judgment within the scope of practice. The Nurse Practitioner needs advanced competency through additional education or training, a Nurse Practitioner license, and prescriptive privileges. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Clinical Director and Medical Director. The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for guiding Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and Medical Assistants.
