Thriveworks is seeking licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners who live in Virginia to provide telehealth care in the evenings and on weekends. This fee-for-service W-2 position offers a stated annual compensation range of $47,000–$70,000 based on 10–15 clinical hours per week. Part-time clinicians must have 15 hours of availability per week in the evenings or on weekends. Nurse Practitioners provide ongoing psychiatric assessments and evaluations to a diverse population of clients with mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and ADHD. The primary age groups served are adults and adolescents, and clinicians must be willing to treat clients ages 14 and up. Clinicians prescribe medication as appropriate, develop care plans collaboratively with clients, and complete relevant paperwork and assessment tools. Prescribing decisions are left to the clinician. Thriveworks does not treat substance use disorders and makes efforts to refer clients to in-person providers when their symptoms are too severe for telemedicine-only care. New clinicians complete in-house training and a brief exam on the organization’s ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approach. New hires are enrolled in the ADHD Clinic and expected to accept and treat ADHD clients, but there are no quotas for clients or prescriptions. Clinicians follow Thriveworks Clinical Practice Guidelines and consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff about clients, programs, and services. The position is fully remote. Thriveworks describes itself as a clinician-founded and clinician-led mental health provider with more than 340 locations and a nationwide hybrid care model.
