We’re seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our growing virtual care team. The NP will provide direct, evidence-based GI care via telehealth in collaboration with supervising physicians, registered dietitians, and health coaches. You’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, whole-person digestive health care that improves outcomes for our members.

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License in the United States, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses (Cylinder will cover costs as needed)
  • Experience managing patients with chronic conditions or in a GI specialty (e.g., IBS, IBD)
  • Ability to practice independently within scope, while collaborating effectively with supervising physician and care team
  • Compassionate, patient-centered clinician with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable practicing in a fully virtual environment
  • Collaborative by nature and energized by working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptable and excited to be part of an early-stage company shaping the future of care

Nice To Haves

  • Prior telehealth experience
  • Multistate licensure
  • Experience with motivational interviewing or patient-centered counseling approaches
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish strongly preferred, other languages a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual patient assessments (history, symptoms, guided physical exam where appropriate)
  • Diagnose and manage GI-related conditions in alignment with clinical protocols
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope of practice
  • Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and care team
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases to supervising physician as needed
  • Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic health record
  • Participate in case reviews, chart audits, and team meetings
