About The Position
cTrace Solutions is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Saint Clairsville, Ohio. This role offers competitive pay, weekly compensation, and does not require weekend or holiday shifts! The position is for a family or adult-gerontology nurse practitioner licensed to work in Ohio with at least one year of working NP experience in a primary care setting or hospital medicine to provide on-site services full-time to the male population at this correctional facility.
Requirements
- Active Ohio NP license - REQUIRED
- ANCC certification - REQUIRED
- DEA registration - REQUIRED
- CPR/BLS certification - REQUIRED
- 1+ year NP experience in primary care - REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- Family or adult-gerontology nurse practitioner specialization
- Experience in a correctional facility setting
Responsibilities
- Conduct examinations and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Diagnose, treat, and prescribe within the scope of practice
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Administer vaccines and perform minor procedures
- Coordinate referrals and document care according to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction standards
- Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and care team
