About The Position

IVX Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality, specialized infusion therapy in an outpatient setting. The NP will oversee patient care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and providers, ensuring every treatment is delivered with precision and care. Requirements

  • Active and Unrestricted Licenses – Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state).
  • Board Certification – AANP or ANCC certification required.
  • Life Support Certifications – BLS certification required.
  • Ability to Treat a Diverse Patient Population – Must be able to care for both adults and pediatrics.
  • Strong IV and Infusion Therapy Skills – Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Proficiency in Clinical Documentation – Experience with EHR systems and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional Communication & Collaboration – Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.
  • PALS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
  • Perform patient evaluations, document SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses.
  • Educate and support patients and families through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
  • Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
  • Work closely with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
  • Assist in inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
  • Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
  • Take on other responsibilities as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
