About The Position
This is a remote/hybrid opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to perform medical reviews of employee-completed electronic AMC questionnaires, Fitness for Duty (FFD) evaluations and Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) records, TSO (Transportation Security Officer) applicant, and TSO reinstatement medical exam results. The place of performance is TSA HQ in Springfield, VA. Remote-eligible after the first month of training but expected onsite at least once per week thereafter. Travel to TSA Headquarters is considered local and non-reimbursable.
Requirements
- BSN, and MSN or DNP and National Certification.
- Minimum of five (5) years of direct and relevant experience in clinical practice, occupational health, and advanced case management.
- Experience in medical review, fitness for duty evaluations, and review of complex medical determinations.
- Current, active Virginia licensure or a multistate Nurse Licensure Compact license meeting Virginia Board of Nursing requirements.
- Ability to pass TSO PERSEC public trust/suitability vetting.
