About The Position

Mobile Medical is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP/APRN) to provide primary care to patients in their homes and through telehealth. This role offers a unique opportunity for new graduate NPs to start their careers differently, focusing on building meaningful patient relationships and having control over their schedule without being tied to a traditional clinic. The position emphasizes one-on-one patient interactions, managing daily schedules, combining in-person and telehealth visits, and developing clinical decision-making skills with the support of an experienced provider team. Experienced NPs are also welcome to apply.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Active Florida APRN License
  • National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
  • Current DEA Registration or ability to obtain
  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • Valid Florida Driver's License
  • Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive in-home health assessments
  • Evaluate and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment and care plans
  • Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
  • Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness
  • Provide preventive care and health education
  • Educate patients and caregivers on disease management
  • Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, home health agencies, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation
  • Participate in population health and quality initiatives
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with patients and caregivers
