About The Position

Ezra, a core part of Function Health, specializes in direct-to-consumer MRI-based cancer screening, with a mission to detect cancer early for everyone globally through fast, accurate, and affordable screening. Ezra's mission is to detect cancer early for everyone by providing a direct-to-consumer cancer screening service using MRI/CT and AI. They operate a screening program across nearly all US states for early detection of cancer and chronic disease, empowering members to be proactive about their health. Members visit partner imaging centers for MRI scans and receive reports within 7 business days. The Nurse Practitioner role involves providing concierge-level clinical care and ensuring exceptional member interactions.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate in Family Nurse Practitioner (DNP/FNP)
  • Active board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), adult medicine
  • Minimum of 3 years of advanced nurse practitioner clinical experience, preference for independent practice
  • Licensed in at least 3 states, one of these should be CA, NY or TX with preference for compact licensure.
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics, in particular imaging
  • Have a quiet work environment/office space with high-speed internet connectivity

Responsibilities

  • Asynchronously review the member’s medical history and conduct telehealth consultations.
  • Review and generate medical orders for our members’ studies.
  • Review members’ radiology reports to prepare translated, easy-to-understand reports that clearly explain the results and recommend actionable next steps.
