About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will join an outpatient interventional pain management team, working closely with experienced pain management physicians and clinical staff. The role involves managing patients with acute and chronic pain, supporting care before and after procedures, and developing knowledge and confidence in the specialty through training, feedback, and clinical support. New graduates are welcome; pain management experience is helpful but not required.

This is a full-time outpatient position with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current national certification.
• Active Florida license or eligibility for Florida licensure.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong clinical foundation.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and receive feedback.
• Pain management experience is helpful but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• See and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Perform examinations and review medical histories.
• Develop and follow treatment plans.
• Order and review imaging, labs, and other testing.
• Manage medications within scope of practice.
• Perform in-office injections and intrathecal pump refills, as appropriate within scope of practice and training.
• See patients before and after procedures.
• Discuss diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps with patients.
• Work closely with physicians and the clinical team.
• Keep documentation accurate and up to date.
