About The Position

Our client is seeking an experienced and compassionate Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team in delivering high-quality care to our diverse and underserved patient population. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
Current unrestricted APRN or PA license
National board certification & BLS certification
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

Nice To Haves

Prior Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care experience
Experience managing a broad spectrum of acute conditions
Experience performing minor procedures and office-based interventions

Responsibilities

Treat a diverse mix of acute and episodic conditions and deliver convenient, same-day care to patients of all ages.
Perform office-based procedures including suturing, wound care, I&Ds, splinting, foreign body removal, and point-of-care testing.
Collaborate with nurses, care coordinators, urgent care team, and specialists to manage care transitions, ensuring continuity.
Build trusting, long-term relationships through effective, empathetic communication.
Educate patients and families on disease management and healthy lifestyle changes.
Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and detailed documentation in the electronic medical record system.
