About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner provides patient health assessment, treatment planning, maintenance, teaching, and counseling in collaboration with the Ambulatory Care physician. Under the physician’s clinical direction and the general direction of the Manager, Ambulatory Care, the Nurse Practitioner provides health and medical care to individuals, families, and groups. The role requires excellent clinical and educational skills, along with demonstrated interpersonal, technical, and management skills.

Requirements

• Three to five years of nursing experience.
• At least one year of experience working in an Ambulatory Care setting.
• Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner program.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current Massachusetts license.
• Must be eligible to prescribe.
• Excellent clinical and educational skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, technical, and management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient health assessments.
• Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing patient care and maintenance.
• Provide patient teaching and counseling.
• Provide health and medical care to individuals, families, and groups in collaboration with the Ambulatory Care physician.
