About The Position

The Ambulatory Care Nurse, Infusion provides physician support and, as applicable, comprehensive nursing care to patients and their families. This RN role delivers skilled patient care through the administration and monitoring of infusion therapy services in the infusion suite. The nurse works collaboratively with practice management and the Clinical Supervisor to maintain consistent practice standards and competencies in patient care delivery. Duties are performed within the scope of practice and in accordance with hospital and WakeMed Physician Practices policies and procedures, standards of care, standing orders, evidence-based guidelines, and applicable state, federal, and regulatory requirements. The nurse supports WakeMed Physician Practices’ mission, values, and management.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Graduate nursing education required.
• Two years of nursing experience in a related area required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities
