About The Position

This is an ongoing per diem role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct disability evaluations for veterans. Veterans will come to your own office for these one-time evaluations. You will examine veterans and record your findings on standard disability evaluation forms. This role does not involve ongoing patient care, treatment, prescribing, or management. Exams are booked during business hours, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state where you will work
• Board certification
• NPI number
• Current ACLS and BLS
• Active DEA
• Your own office within 50 miles of West Plains, MO
• CV in month and year format

Responsibilities

• Examine veterans and record findings on standard disability evaluation forms.
• Conduct one-time evaluations, not ongoing care.
• Do not treat, prescribe, or manage patients afterward.
