About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in a part-time float role supporting Convenient Care, Urgent Care, and Walk-In Clinic locations across Missouri and Kansas. This position is ideal for a provider who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values autonomy in delivering high-quality patient care. This role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license while gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and care environments. Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in Missouri and Kansas (or ability to obtain)
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
- Ability to practice independently within scope
- Flexibility to travel between clinic locations
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
- Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
- Advanced Practice Provider Cert(MO/KS)
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Master's Degree
Nice To Haves
- Ideal background in urgent care, convenient care, or retail clinic settings
- Also welcomes experience in Emergency Department (ED), Med-Surg, or ICU settings
- New graduates are encouraged to apply if they have prior RN experience in ED, Med-Surg, or ICU
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in retail and urgent care clinic settings
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Perform, order, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions
- Deliver health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness education
- Support health promotion initiatives within the clinic setting
- Utilize strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
- Float between clinic locations and adjust scheduling to meet patient demand and market needs
