About The Position
Provides professional care to patients presenting with a broad variety of medical or surgical complaints, ranging from non-urgent to emergent, within the scope of a certified registered nurse practitioner or doctorate-prepared nurse practitioner. The role is based in the emergency department at Marshall Medical Center North. The listed schedules are 9 a.m.–7 p.m. and 3 p.m.–1 a.m. Marshall Medical Centers serves Marshall County and the surrounding area as an affiliate of the Huntsville Hospital Health System. Marshall Medical Center North is a 90-bed facility in Guntersville, Alabama. The medical center is part of a system recognized by The Joint Commission as a Top Quality Performer.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- Current Alabama registered nurse license with CRNP or DNP designation.
- Graduate of an approved Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner or Doctorate of Nurse Practitioner program.
- Skills needed to function effectively as an emergency department health care provider.
- Maintain collaboration requirements per hospital bylaws and Alabama Board of Nursing.
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
