About The Position
The Advance Practice Provider (APP), which may be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, plays an important role in providing high-quality healthcare to patients. The APP is part of an experienced team that includes physicians, nurses, and other professionals. The APP evaluates, diagnoses, clinically monitors, and manages patients using advanced assessment skills and knowledge of clinical therapeutics, in collaboration with a supervising physician.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree as an Advanced Practice Clinician or Physician Assistant.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- No experience required.
- Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar, and spelling skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
- Computer skills, including use of Excel and medical record charting.
- Ability to manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, manage others' anger, fear, hostility, or violence appropriately, handle multiple priorities, work alone, and work in confined or crowded areas.
- Ability to distinguish colors, hear alarms, telephone, tape recorder, and normal speaking voice, and demonstrate good manual dexterity and eye/hand/foot coordination.
- Clarity of vision: Mid (>20=-<20=).
