About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner provides primary care to patients using protocols established by the Medical Director and/or supervising physician. The role is responsible and accountable for complying with mandated Rural Health regulations, when applicable, other governmental regulations, and policies and procedures established by the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner training program.
• Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
• Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Current certification as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Current CPR certifications.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact positively and professionally with a diverse patient base and staff.
• Ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor and exercising sound judgment in emergency situations.
• Ability to think rationally and reason logically.
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.

Responsibilities
