About The Position
Nurse Practitioners are needed at the Federal Correctional Complex Hazelton in Bruceton Mills, West Virginia. The role involves assessing and managing inmates’ uncomplicated acute and stable chronic health problems, collaborating with a physician on selected complex medical problems, and performing initial comprehensive medical and psychosocial screenings. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, at a rate of $70 per hour.
Requirements
- BLS certification.
- Active Nurse Practitioner license.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and manage inmates’ uncomplicated acute and stable chronic health problems.
- Assist and work collaboratively with the physician in managing selected complex medical problems.
- Perform initial comprehensive medical and psychosocial screenings.
