About The Position
UT Health East Texas is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for its Henderson Rural Health Clinic. The role is outpatient only and joins a team of seven physicians and three advanced practice providers. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with no call requirement. The clinic uses Epic EMR. UT Health East Texas comprises 10 hospitals and more than 50 clinics across East Texas, with nearly 7,500 employees and more than 1,000 licensed inpatient beds. UT Health Henderson is a short-term acute care facility with 41 licensed beds and recognition that includes the Momentum Award, a Leapfrog “A” Hospital Safety Grade, and designation as one of the “2025 Best Places to Work in Healthcare.” Henderson is a close-knit East Texas community with schools, a low cost of living, lakes, parks, and outdoor recreation. It is 45 minutes from Tyler and within driving distance of Dallas and Shreveport.
