About The Position
ChristianaCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Urogynecology practice. This position focuses exclusively on subspecialty urogynecology, serving a dedicated patient population and excluding general gynecology or primary care. Requirements
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Delaware
- Certification in a relevant specialty area (e.g., Women’s Health, Family Medicine)
- Prescriptive authority and DEA registration (or eligibility)
- BLS certification required
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in Urogynecology, Women’s Health, or Urology preferred
Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate and manage patients with pelvic floor disorders including: Urinary incontinence, Pelvic organ prolapse, Overactive bladder, Fecal incontinence, Recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs)
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Assess patients for potential surgical referral and coordinate with the surgical team as needed
