About The Position

Provides primary or acute healthcare services for certain acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. MaineGeneral's Workplace Health Clinic is looking for a Nurse Practitioner eager to provide quality care to working adults across a range of industries. No occupational medicine experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and collaborate with both patients and employers in central Maine. The role involves delivering primary or acute care for working populations, with training provided for occupational medicine best practices. The practitioner will collaborate with a supportive, multidisciplinary team to provide care that supports employees’ health, safety, and wellness. There is an option to become certified to conduct commercial driver exams, with assistance provided.

Requirements

  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) - Maine State Board of Nursing
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Maine State Board of Nursing
