About The Position
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join their Women's Health department. The Nurse Practitioner will rotate between Clark and Westfield locations affiliated with Overlook Medical Center. This role offers an opportunity for experienced nurse practitioners to expand their skillset. The Nurse Practitioner is expected to provide preventive, gynecologic, reproductive, and low-risk obstetric care. This includes wellness examinations, early pregnancy management, prenatal care for low-risk obstetric patients, patient education, contraceptive counseling, and management of common women’s health conditions. The role may also include office-based procedures such as IUD insertion and removal and endometrial biopsies, depending on the candidate’s training, competency, and organizational privileging requirements.

Responsibilities
- Provide preventive, gynecologic, reproductive, and low-risk obstetric care.
- Conduct wellness examinations.
- Manage early pregnancy.
- Provide prenatal care for low-risk obstetric patients.
- Offer patient education.
- Provide contraceptive counseling.
- Manage common women’s health conditions.
- Perform office-based procedures such as IUD insertion and removal and endometrial biopsies, based on training, competency, and organizational privileging requirements.
