About The Position
Unified Women’s Healthcare is the leading national platform for women’s healthcare. Our affiliated practice Full Circle Women's Care of Florida Woman Care is seeking a Full-Time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. At Full Circle JAX, our team is united by the passion for delivering patient-centered care that emphasizes compassion, dignity, and autonomy while also celebrating womanhood. This is a perfect position for Nurse Practitioners that enjoy assisting with surgery and in-office procedures. New graduates and experienced nurse practitioners are encouraged to apply! The position highlights include a team structure of 4 physicians and 6 midwives, hospital affiliations with Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville & Ascension Hospital, and a work schedule of a 4.5 work week with half days on Fridays. There is limited call, OR time including assisting with C-sections, and in-office procedures. The patient volume is approximately 21 patients per day. The role involves providing pre- and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling, as well as assisting and working closely with physicians to provide patient care.
Requirements
- National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
- Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
- CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
- Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
- Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
- Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
