About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive gynecological and women’s healthcare services. In this role, you will act as both a clinician and an educator, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, providing health education, and promoting disease prevention to help patients lead healthy lives.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant state licensing required.
- Proven experience in a Women's Health specialty.
- Strong familiarity with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic testing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and patient care regulations.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and exceptional patience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong team spirit and a positive attitude to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Exceptional communication skills, patience, and strong clinical problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to advancing clinical expertise through research and professional discourse.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations, pelvic exams, and annual Pap smears.
- Provide STD testing, contraception counseling, and prenatal and postpartum care.
- Interpret laboratory results, diagnose health conditions, and oversee ongoing patient care plans.
- Counsel patients on preventative health practices and wellness strategies.
