Provides comprehensive urology care to patients in collaboration with urologists and the clinical care team, following established standards, evidence-based practices, and applicable scope of practice requirements with minimal supervision. The Urology Nurse Practitioner evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and manages patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, hematuria, benign prostatic concerns, overactive bladder, incontinence, post-operative urologic needs, and other genitourinary conditions. This position provides patient education, orders and interprets diagnostic studies, prescribes medications and treatments within scope of practice, assists with care coordination, and supports the urology team in clinic-based and procedural follow-up care.
