Nurse Practitioner – Rheumatology
About The Position
Four Squared Solutions is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Rheumatology practice in Orlando, Florida. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with experience in rheumatology, internal medicine, family medicine, or a related specialty. The NP will work collaboratively with our physicians and healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders. This position offers an excellent work-life balance, minimal call responsibilities, and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while managing complex chronic conditions.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
- Current Florida Nurse Practitioner license.
- National NP certification (AANP or ANCC).
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
- Minimum of 2-5 years Nurse Practitioner in rheumatology
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Rheumatology experience.
- Experience managing biologic medications and infusion therapies.
- Familiarity with EMR systems.
- Experience in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, or Orthopedics.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with rheumatologic conditions including: Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Lupus, Gout, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Sjögren's Syndrome, Osteoporosis
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and follow-up visits.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Initiate and monitor biologic therapies and disease-modifying medications (DMARDs).
- Monitor patients for medication efficacy and adverse effects.
- Educate patients regarding disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with physicians, infusion staff, pharmacists, and ancillary healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.
