Nurse Practitioner - Rheumatology Services - Queens Medical Group
About The Position
Join NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens, part of the NewYork-Presbyterian healthcare network, a leading academic healthcare system affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine. This role involves providing health care to Rheumatology patients in collaboration with providers within the Medical and Surgical divisions. The Nurse Practitioner will adhere to Practice Protocols, Nurse Practitioner Clinical Practice Agreements, and the policies and procedures of the Division of Nursing, service department, and NewYork Presbyterian Queens Medical Group. This is a full-time, day shift position located in Fresh Meadows, NY.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current New York State License as Nurse Practitioner.
- Current New York State RN license.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a New York State approved accrediting body – American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- ACLS and BCLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Rheumatology in an outpatient setting.
- EMR-EPIC experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Provide health care to Rheumatology patients in collaboration with providers.
- Deliver care within the Medical and Surgical divisions.
- Act in accordance with agreed-upon Practice Protocols and Nurse Practitioner Clinical Practice Agreement.
- Adhere to policies and procedures established by the Division of Nursing, service department, and NewYork Presbyterian Queens Medical Group.
