About The Position

As a senior member of the clinical team, the Psych Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric care and medication treatment to members served, in addition to the recovery focused treatment plan developed and delivered in concert with the multidisciplinary team. This is a part-time position, 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Telecare's mission is to deliver excellent and effective behavioral health services that engage individuals in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams. As part of the Telecare Family, Sacramento Outreach Adult Recovery serves 250 adults aged 18+ with serious, persistent mental health issues in an outpatient setting. Using a tiered treatment approach, RENEW supports members in the least restrictive environment in obtaining their hope, health and dreams.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
Active DEA and Furnishing licenses
