Nurse Practitioner, Psych PMHNP - Mead Valley Wellness MHRC
About The Position
As a senior member of the clinical team, the Psych Nurse Practitioner provides direct psychiatric care and medication treatment to members served, in addition to the recovery focused treatment plan developed and delivered in concert with the multidisciplinary team. This is a part-time position (24 hours per week) with a flexible schedule on weekdays from 8 am to 5 pm. The role is onsite and includes on-call responsibilities for emergencies by phone from 5 pm to 8 am, with an additional $150 per night for on-call duty. As part of the Telecare family, the Riverside County Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) is licensed as a 50-bed sub-acute residential program located in Riverside, CA. The program provides longer-term mental health recovery services 24/7/365 within a supportive, structured, and secure inpatient environment designed to help clients prepare to move to the community and/or lower levels of care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Science and an advanced degree in a healthcare science as required by the State Licensing program
- Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience, or its part-time equivalent, working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner in the State of practice
- Active DEA and Furnishing licenses
