We are currently pursuing a highly skilled and compassionate full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiology team and UCHealth. This position is employed by UCHealth and works onsite at the Cardiology Clinic at Sidney Regional Medical Center. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in physician assistant studies (for PA)
  • Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (for NP)
  • 2-3 Years of cardiovascular service line experience
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the States of Colorado and Nebraska (for PA)
  • Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license issued by the State Board of Nursing in the state of practice or compact privileges (for NP)
  • Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) issued by the NCCPA (for PA)
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by ANCC or AANPCB (for NP)
  • Unrestricted DEA permits to prescribe all medications commonly prescribed during practice
  • Eligible to provide services, reimbursable services, and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid
  • Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from HHS/OIG or GSA List of Parties Excluded from Federal Programs
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care to cardiology patients.
  • Collaborate with the cardiology team and UCHealth.
  • Ensure patient well-being is the top priority.
  • Maintain all required certifications and licenses.
  • Prescribe medications as appropriate for practice.
  • Maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Obtain and maintain unrestricted medical staff membership and privileges.
  • Provide services without sanctions or exclusion from federal programs.
