Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant-Full-Time- Vero Beach
About The Position
We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to treat our patients in a wide array of urgent care needs. A typical day will include obtaining an adequate history and performing an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem, ordering pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation, making appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered, and administering appropriate medication or treatment as necessary, including minor surgical procedures. Requirements
- Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and/or Primary Care Medicine.
- Previous experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care center.
- Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with the state law
- Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant school with a minimum of one year of experience in a relevant environment
- BLS Certification
- Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA (Agency for Healthcare Administration)
Responsibilities
