About The Position

This is a full-time position available Monday through Friday, primarily with daytime hours. It offers an amazing opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary comprehensive breast oncology team providing care to patients at the Pluta Cancer Center. The APP role involves triaging phone calls, urgent add-on clinic visits, infusion support, and scheduled ambulatory clinics. The need for excellent communication skills with proven ability in exercising independent judgment and initiative as an advanced practice provider is required. Individuals must be flexible with the growing needs of the practice and dependable. Being self-directed, having strong assessment and communication skills with the ability to multi-task are important for success in this role. Strongly prefer at least 3-5 years of experience as an advanced practice provider, ideally within hematology/oncology.

Requirements

  • Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner (for NP role)
  • Active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing (for NP role)
  • Active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing (for NP role)
  • Current national certification as an Nurse Practitioner (for NP role)
  • Completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program (for PA role)
  • Active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing (for PA role)
  • Current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA (for PA role)
  • Demonstrate clinical competence
