About The Position

CaroMont Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join three APPs at CaroMont Urgent Care – Gaston Day. The position offers a collaborative, supportive team environment focused on quality care, modern facilities, access to CaroMont’s resources and network, in-house X-ray capability, and an onsite laboratory. The clinic operates seven days per week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on a two-week rotating schedule. The provider will evaluate and treat approximately four patients per hour with a range of urgent and non-emergent conditions, perform urgent care procedures, manage diagnostic testing, educate patients, and document encounters in EPIC. CaroMont Health is an independent, not-for-profit healthcare system with a 476-bed hospital, a satellite campus in Belmont, an extensive primary care and specialty physician network, and an accredited Cancer Center. Requirements

Master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
Board certification as an FNP or PA-C.
Active North Carolina license and DEA registration.
Willingness to obtain a South Carolina license and DEA registration.
BLS and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat approximately four patients per hour with a wide range of urgent and non-emergent conditions.
Perform procedures such as wound care, suturing, and splinting, as well as other urgent care services.
Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests and imaging.
Provide education on treatment plans and follow-up care.
Document all encounters accurately and promptly in EPIC.
