Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Thursdays)
About The Position
US Fertility has an opening for an Advanced Practice Provider at Shady Grove Fertility in Hagerstown, Maryland. The position supports patients receiving fertility care and involves educating patients and couples about infertility, discussing evaluation and treatment plans, conducting pre- and post-procedure assessments and teaching, consulting about treatment protocols and medications, performing procedures, and taking measurements and calculations during ultrasound procedures. Training in the Frederick and Rockville offices is required. The schedule is every Thursday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and compensation is $55 or more per hour, commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- A high level of customer service.
- Must be a self-starter.
Nice To Haves
- Women’s health experience is preferred; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients and couples about the causes of infertility and discuss necessary evaluation, treatment, and procedure plans.
- Perform pre-procedure and post-procedure assessments and provide patient teaching.
- Consult with patients regarding treatment protocols, medications, and required testing or procedures.
- Perform various procedures.
- Make necessary measurements and calculations while performing ultrasound procedures.
