About The Position
The Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG) APP reflects the mission, vision, and values of BHMG, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory and accreditation standards. The APP functions autonomously and collaborates with other health professionals to provide high-quality, cost-effective patient care; manages health care systems; and influences health care decision-making through expert clinical reasoning, research, and theory-based practice. The APP provides direct patient care as part of a physician-led team in accordance with state law and approved Medical Staff privileges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of an accredited APP program.
- National certification from the appropriate national certifying agency for the particular APP; must maintain national certification.
- Eligible at all times to be insured for professional liability.
- Current, valid, unrestricted license to practice as an APP in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
- BCLS through the American Heart Association.
- ACLS as required for the position.
Nice To Haves
- Terminal degree in the APP field preferred.
Responsibilities
