Surgical Oncology- PRN (Nights)-Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- Piedmont Atlanta
About The Position
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Oncology team at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. This role involves in-house coverage on Saturday nights from 5 PM to 7 AM and provides PTO backfill for Sunday through Friday nights from 5 PM to 7 AM. The APP will serve as a member of a surgical service line team, managing post-operative and critically ill patients within the hospital. Additionally, they will evaluate pre- and post-operative patients in the office setting. This position requires specialized skills and knowledge for patient care in CVOR, ICU, CCU, and CVICU areas, contributing to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, and consulting, while also providing leadership to the organization.
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master’s in Nursing, OR graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board Upon Hire
- Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. OR Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP, FNP, and WHNP) Upon Hire
