About The Position

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a PRN nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our highly skilled hospital medicine team at HCA Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, Georgia! In this role, you will work as-needed, 8-hour shifts with our inpatient hospital medicine team. This role offers a highly flexible schedule and also serves as a great opportunity for a clinician interested in transitioning to a full-time role in the future, should an opening become available.

HCA Memorial Satilla Health is a 231-bed comprehensive acute-care facility. Key services include a busy ED, our heart, orthopedic, surgery, rehabilitation, sleep, and birthing centers with specialists trained specifically for these needs; and an extensive mental health program. The EMR system used is Meditech.

Position Overview:
PRN (as-needed) schedule with maximum flexibility.
Flexible scheduling: typically 8-hour shift coverage.
Minimum PRN commitment: availability to work at least 3 shifts within a six-month period.
Competitive PRN compensation.
Inpatient clinician experience is strongly preferred.
No solo clinician coverage required.
Coverage may include ICU.
Average admissions: 8 per day.
Average census: 13.
No codes or rapids.
Acute care certification is preferred.
