About The Position
Covington County Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide services to a VA nursing home in Jackson. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The provider will routinely round on residents, examine them, diagnose illnesses, prescribe treatment orders and prescriptions, and collaborate with nurses, therapists, and social workers to develop personalized care plans.
Requirements
- Must be licensed to practice in the State of Mississippi and in good standing as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Routinely round on nursing home residents.
- Examine residents and diagnose illnesses.
- Prescribe orders and prescriptions for treatment.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and social workers to build personalized care plans.
