West Coast Wound & Skin Care is a mobile wound care company providing services and treatments in patients’ homes. The organization focuses on whole-patient health and emphasizes communication, responsiveness, and training for its medical team. The company is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to provide advanced wound care, traveling locally within a designated region to visit patients in their homes or skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). This role serves the San Bernardino, California area and is intended for candidates living in San Bernardino. It is not remote; candidates must be willing and able to drive to patient homes. No experience is required. Extensive training and 24/7 support are provided, along with competitive compensation.

Requirements

Current California state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
CPR certification.
Effective communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Minimum state-required liability auto insurance.
Willingness and ability to travel locally to patient homes; local travel is required.
Candidate must live in San Bernardino, California.

Responsibilities

Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat patients.
Perform wound care procedures as appropriate for the plan of care.
Define and document patient diagnoses.
Ensure patients are completely satisfied.
Provide patient education and management.
Safely debride wounds using various methods during patient visits.
Apply topical wound care and other wound management products.
Document findings and treatment course in patient charts, including follow-up notes.
