Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
About The Position
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Primary Care team at Milford Regional Physician Group in Northbridge, MA. This is a full-time position within a well-established and growing practice that offers the option for providers to have their own panel of patients. The practice prioritizes provider-patient interaction, supported by resources such as scribes for documentation, dedicated office-based support staff, and specialized teams (nurse case managers, social workers, behavioral health support specialists) to manage high-risk patients. The medical group benefits from strong leadership and an extensive network of specialists, utilizing the EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
- A Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Eligible or current Massachusetts license.
- National certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable).
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration.
- Federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Manage a panel of patients, spending the majority of the workday with patients.
- Utilize scribes for documentation support.
- Collaborate with dedicated office-based support staff.
- Work with nurse case managers, social workers, and behavioral health support specialists to manage high-risk patients.
- Leverage an extensive network of specialists for patient care.
