About The Position

Gardner Health Services is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Family Practice at the Alviso Health Center in Alviso, California. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. The role provides medical care services under the guidance and supervision of an assigned Gardner Health Services physician who is licensed to supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. The ideal candidate can work independently and as part of a team, and has strong customer-service skills and experience serving patients from diverse backgrounds and cultures. English and Spanish language skills are preferred but not required. The recruitment remains open until the position is filled, and applications are reviewed in the order received. Compensation is $80.32 per hour. Position level and compensation may be determined based on relevant experience and education. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Additional documents or certifications may be required during hiring and credentialing. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program.
Current unrestricted California Physician Assistant license or Nurse Practitioner license.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Current DEA license, if applicable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong customer-service experience and ability to serve patients from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
