Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
About The Position
UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region. This is a well-established and growing practice with the option to have your own panel of patients. Outstanding professional support is provided by experienced practitioners on our team. Our aim is to have our providers spend the majority of their workday with their patients. To accomplish this goal, we have resources in place to support them, including scribes for documentation, dedicated office-based support staff, and nurse case managers, social workers and behavioral health support specialists to help manage the highest risk patients. We have a strong leadership team made up of Clinical Leaders, Operations, IT, HR, and more, and an extensive network of specialists. We utilize the EPIC EMR system.
Requirements
- A Masters degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Eligible or current Massachusetts license.
- National certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable).
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration.
- Federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration.
Responsibilities
- Spend the majority of their workday with their patients.
- Utilize scribes for documentation.
- Work with dedicated office-based support staff.
- Collaborate with nurse case managers, social workers, and behavioral health support specialists to manage high-risk patients.
