About The Position
Monterey Bay GI Consultants, a gastroenterology specialty group on the Monterey Peninsula, is hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The practice has 12 physicians, 4 NPs, and 1 PA, with two offices and ambulatory surgical centers in Monterey and Salinas. This is a full-time provider position, primarily in the office setting, with a few weeks per year assisting with hospital coverage.
Requirements
- Graduate of an NP/PA program approved by the Board of California.
- Current and unrestricted California NP/PA license.
- Federal DEA controlled substance registration.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in an office or hospital setting.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish; preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Work primarily in the office setting.
- Assist with hospital coverage for a few weeks per year.
