About The Position

This passionate, mission-driven organization is a long-standing presence in the Bay Area with offices in San Francisco, San Jose, and Oakland, as well as Southern California and Texas. Their locations are spacious, modern buildings with comfortable areas dedicated to each medical provider and amenities such as a partner pharmacy and lab. Appproximately 95% of their patients are Spanish-speaking and their mission is to deliver the most affordable, high quality healthcare possible to the local Hispanic community. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides routine primary care and low-acuity urgent care services, including but not limited to: primary care exams, chronic condition management, sick visits, minor injury care, laceration repair, incision and drainage, ingrown toenail removal, Pap smears, annual physicals, sports physicals, employment physicals, and vaccinations. Providers see an average of 15 to 20 patients per day and are supported by a medical assistant who helps with all visits, including charting and documentation. The clinic uses CarbyOS, an AI-powered EMR designed to reduce administrative burden. Approximately 95% of patients are Spanish-speaking and the new provider must be fluent in Spanish.

Requirements

• California NP or PA license
• Ability to see patients of all ages
• 2+ years experience in primary care, urgent care, or a related field
• Must speak fluent Spanish

Responsibilities

• Provide routine primary care and low-acuity urgent care services.
• Conduct primary care exams.
• Manage chronic conditions.
• Handle sick visits.
• Provide minor injury care.
• Perform laceration repair.
• Perform incision and drainage.
• Perform ingrown toenail removal.
• Perform Pap smears.
