CareSpot Urgent Care is hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Gainesville and Ocala area. We are providing exceptional care to patients across Gainesville and Ocala; supporting the healthcare needs of over 500,000 residents across North Central Florida (including underserved communities) through a growing network of urgent care centers in partnership with UF Health.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Board Certified)
• Active Florida license (or ability to obtain)
• 1+ year urgent care, ER, family practice or outpatient experience required
• BLS Certification
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA (Agency for Healthcare Administration)

Responsibilities

• Treat patients of all ages (6mo+) in a fast-paced urgent care setting (averaging 3-4pts per hour)
• Nextgen (EMR)
• Opportunity to pick up overtime shifts, if desired
• Perform procedures (suturing, splinting, I&D, etc.)
• Order & interpret labs, x-rays and ECG
• Provide efficient, patient-focused care
