About The Position
HealthCARE Express is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for our Texarkana, TX urgent care clinic. If you enjoy treating a variety of patients, like staying busy, and want to work with a team that takes patient care seriously without taking itself too seriously, we'd love to talk to you.
Requirements
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Confident making independent clinical decisions.
- Works well with others.
- Communicates clearly.
- Supports the team.
- Understands that a great patient experience matters just as much as efficient care.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients of all ages for a wide range of illnesses and injuries.
- Evaluate and diagnose patients.
- Order and interpret labs and imaging.
- Prescribe medications.
- Perform minor procedures.
- Develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Document care accurately and on time.
- Communicate clearly with patients and staff.
- Help lead the clinical team through a busy day.
