About The Position
Urology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (NP/PA) Location: Sun City & Phoenix, AZ (Clinic & Hospital Settings) Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Flexible 4x10 or 5x8 Schedule | No Weekends Compensation: $120,000–$160,000 annually (DOE) + RVU Bonus Eligibility After Year One Launch or Grow Your Career in Urology Are you a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant looking for an opportunity to develop specialized skills while working alongside an experienced, supportive urology team? We're seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing urology practice serving patients throughout the West Valley and Phoenix. This unique position combines both outpatient clinic and hospital-based care, giving you the opportunity to expand your clinical expertise while working closely with experienced urologists in a collaborative environment. Whether you're an experienced APP or a new graduate eager to specialize, you'll receive mentorship, hands-on procedural training, and the support needed to build a successful career in urology.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or eligibility to obtain)
- DEA registration or ability to obtain before start
- NP/PA Program Graduated in USA (Not Puerto Rico)
- Active or eligible Arizona NP or PA license
- DEA license or ability to obtain

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of urologic conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Perform in-office urologic procedures with physician mentorship and training
- Administer intravesical therapies and assist with bladder treatment protocols
- Perform catheter placement, exchanges, troubleshooting, and ongoing catheter management
- Assist physicians with surgical procedures as needed
- Round on hospitalized patients and coordinate inpatient care
- Participate in a light weekday phone call schedule and shared call rotation
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, hospital staff, and referring providers to ensure exceptional patient care
