Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Pediatric Urology
About The Position
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide care to pediatric urology patients. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to both well and ill patients in a primarily outpatient setting. You will also participate in weekly urology academic conferences and perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice including, but not limited to: catheter insertions, catheter changes, and complex bladder irrigation.
Requirements
- If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.
- If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.
- If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND Active board certification as a NP in Family or Pediatric.
- If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND Active PA board certification.
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
