Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Outpatient Dialysis
About The Position
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. This role involves participating in multidisciplinary HD rounds, collaborating with the patient's care team for care coordination, and managing dialysis orders. Responsibilities include managing and treating anemia and BMD, assessing and referring for dialysis access placement or intervention, blood pressure management, volume status/estimated dry weight assessment, lab results review/management, and referrals for transplant and/or home dialysis programs. Requirements
- State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. Adult; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care, Adult/Gerontology Acute Care.
- Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program.
- If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.
